Familie Carter: We came all the way down from Scotland. Our son George started with dogs already at the age of 9 and takes part in the junior’s race. For young mushers working with these dogs is not only a lot fo fun but also furthers understanding and a feeling of responsibility which in turn helps to develop personality. Probably, he has inherited our gene‘s affinity for sleddog racing as we are also longtime enthusiasts and participate with 6 dogs each in the championship.
